There are two routes, not one. Under the assessment route, a qualification recognised in an EU member state plus three years practising there within the preceding five can be assessed without an examination. Otherwise you sit the Dental Council Examination for Dentists. Canada (after 5 December 2012) and New Zealand (after 19 October 2022) graduates register through mutual recognition, also with no exam.
